Ricoh multi-function products with virtually no waiting time to operate, awaking from Energy Saving mode

Energy saving mode can now be used throughout the entire business day.

When using typical MFPs installed 4 to 6 years ago, you may have to wait 6 to 8 seconds for the MFP to wake up and be ready for Key-input operation. If the wait time is too long, customers may decide not to use energy saving mode during business hours. So, they keep the MFP in Print Ready mode with much higher power.

But, if you could not use Energy Saving mode in business hours, actual power consumption became much worse than TEC data. (Graph 1)

Ricoh has continuously enhanced energy saving technologies since 1999. In 2016, Ricoh has launched many new molels, virtually eliminating the waiting time for Key Input operation. The Latest models using Energy Saving mode can reduce weekly power consumption drastically compared with the conventional models which did not use Energy Saving mode. (Graph 2)
